New. Comes with book, cartridge & overlay in box.

Cartridge may be linked. I bought off of eBay with a LOT of other cartridges. What "LINKED" means to all those new Cricut users is: Cartridge has no issue being used in your machine. You won't be able to upload the designs onto Ctocut Online Studio (because it's 'LINKED" to another account) which is a paid service through Cricut to make your layouts online. Otherwise, it doesn't matter if it's linked. I don't use the Design Studio. I tested the cartridge and made 5 cutouts when I first received this cartridge so it works.
