I do not know any history on this piece. I found it at an estate sale. I am listing it as silver toned. It looks like it couls be sterling, but at this time i have no way of verifying that it is. So silver toned it is. It looks to be hand made, but i cannot verify that either. It is a very unique piece that is why i guess i bought it. The pin part on the back is loose and will not stay closed, so a good repair would be in order. The blue stone one the front is in my opinion a glass or plastic accent, not an actual gemstone of any kind. However, if this is sterling you could have it replaced with a real one if the winner chooses. Once again this may not be sterling and i am listing it as silvertoned costume. I do not know it's age.
