I was so surprise when I found this, because of the rarity
of this piece, that I couldn't wait to look this up in researching this item. It is made by Sarah Coventry and is marked so on the back, It is in mint condition with no
issues and is quite beautiful. I wish the pictures did this
piece more justice. It is a whopping 3 1/2 inches long by
2 inches wide. A large emerald green is pave set in the
middle with tiny Diamonelles pave set all over the Flower
or in the winter could be a snowflake. Now for the surprise.....You could were this in four (4) different ways.
1). As you see it in the first picture....a large stick pin.
2). detach the stick end and you have a small stick Pin.
3). With the stick pin detached......it is a brooch.
4). Instead of a brooch, there is a chain loop/bail for
inserting a necklace chain to wear as a pendent.
According to my research this was made from 1963 to
67, and is considered one of there most highly collectible
pieces ever made, because of its versatility to wear.
