Black opals are very hard to find..This is a gorgeous spectral delight of a black opal I was told from lightening ridge Australia. This is a backed stone possibly triplet or double...Measuring 8mm x 6mm a decent size I'm going to mount mine in a ring... This one would look great in any setting.
