The listing, Antique Lighter, pre-occupied Japan has ended.

This is an antique lighter dating from preoccupied Japan as recognized by the make on the bottom simply stating "JAPAN" rather than "Made in Japan" which became the common mark after WW2. It is very tarnished and I do not know what metal this is. It still has the refill cartridge with original wick. This was originally owned by my great grandmother, so the time frame matches up with the provenance of the maker's mark. As seen in the picture is is slightly less than 3 inches tall.
