Filled means fake or real gold ?

It means real gold that is heat bonded to a jewelers metal, usually copper, And far better than plated. There is no comparison. Plating wears off where gold filled is next best thing to solid gold as it lasts and if taken care of will last as long as solid gold. But it is not solid gold and the price is right.
