If you search (model number) chipset on google, it should tell you.

there was a question on chip set,now i'm novice on tech but i can google :) went to linksys support what they said was it was a dual-band adapter and could detect and connect to either 2.4 or 5.0 ghz and the netgear router is also dual-band so that makes them a good match.
