Both are stamped 925, measurements are shown in the picture. Turtle has a hinge so it can act as a pendant!Great detail, beautiful pieces! Had these for a while, but never worn. The octopus reminds me somewhat of the Kraken!
There are also unknown gemstones that serve as the turtle's eyes. The octopus has tiny marcasite for its eyes, and it appears to be a deep red and muted golden color for either of its eyes. I would venture and say citrine and garnet for the eyes.
Sending to you in a brown velvet satchel in a green and brown Ross Simons box, for gift giving. These actually came from Wildthings, LTD. Each pin/brooch retails for a ballpark of $100.
