This is an 18-inch necklace. It is not sterling silver. I bought two with a Groupon and have gotten lots of compliments on mine.

There are not a lot of diamonds so if you are diamond Lil or wanting to give it to someone who has diamonds, this is not the right gift. The way it is designed gives the illusion of more diamonds that it has and no sorry, I tried to look it up but couldn't find the caret weight.

In each section there are perhaps 3 or 4 tiny diamonds so it is perfect for those who don't where yellow gold, someone who has never had any diamonds or someone who just wants a pretty necklace.
