Okay everyone - here it is...my daughter's "I HAVE to have this for Christmas", used it two or three times (if that), got her own place, left it behind and hasn't mentioned it since which, in my book, makes it mine now (LOL!) and I already have one, sooooo...someone here on Listia is about to get very lucky as these retail for approximately $120.00. The Instyler is definitely THE hair accessory of the moment! I do want to note that I have no idea what my daughter did with the original box and instructions - although chances are she tossed them, however, if you don't know how to use the Instyler or even if you just want some great styling tips, you can easily log onto their website and all of the information you need is right at your fingertips! im watching lol this is the first time ive seen your auction and i want it.. i am so sorry that it was that bad for you guys up there we were and still are praying for everyone affected by the storm and my wonderful children even donated thier money to the red cross for the people affected. we are getting the effects of t.s lee right now and we are hoping that it does not get to bad around here. i think that people who have been watching tv know whats going on, they just dont realize thats where you are,but i will be bidding closer to the end. my cousin has one in her salon and i loved the way it left my hair so im going to try for this one!

It's people & families such as yours who provide comfort and encouragement to those affected by events such as this and I can't begin to explain how grateful I am. Sounds like your children make you so very proud and you definitely should be! Please tell them that their efforts and generousity are sincerely appreciated from the bottom of my heart! Of course I am watching (now that we have television again-lol) and praying that Lee passes by without causing those in your area any harm or damage. Stay safe!! Quite honestly, I feel that it is unfortunate that, these days it seems like so many people assume the worse right away instead of giving others the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps I'm just worn out and upset from reading unkind (and that's an understatement) emails which were sent when I not only had no way to respond, but was crazed trying to deal with so many losses, including my Mom. I don't know - if it was me and I had won an auction from a member who had been responding immediately in the beginning and who had 100% positive and glowing feedback, I think I would look into things further before turning on them...check out their profile to see where they lived (especially when it was all over the news that the NY/NJ area was expecting a direct hit from a hurricane), look and see if they had been checking in and just ignoring me or maybe even worry that something had happened to them such as an accident, hospitalization or even worse because I know how terrible I would feel if I wrote someone a scathing, nasty email and I found out that they had been going through a tragic time...but that's me I guess. Wow, I just realized how much I vented here - oops (lol!). Anyway, good luck tonight. You're right - it is a wonderful product. Makes hair look & feel like you just walked out of a salon. PLEASE, PLEASE EVERYONE - READ THIS: As my profile shows, I live in Northern New Jersey which, if you have been watching the news or reading the papers, was recently hit by Hurricane Irene. While a large majority of New Jersey made it through without too much trouble, other areas were devastated by floods, downed trees, raised roofs, no power and the like. Unfortunately, my town was one of the hard hit areas. My house was flooded and we were without ANY power for almost an entire week. Even now, although power has been restored, it has been going on & off for the past two days (more off than on) which made it impossible for me to respond to anyone. In addition (as if that's not enough), my Mom passed away suddenly & tragically and, needless to say, things have been more than tough for me and my family. I am NOT looking for sympathy here or making excuses as that is definitely NOT my style. There are others in worse shape than I and my heart goes out to all of them as their suffering continues. I just truly wanted to let everyone here who made a comment, asked a question, fanned me, etc. to know that I would NEVER EVER intentionally ignore another Listia member, but circumstances prevented me from doing so before now. I promise you all that I will stay on my computer for as long as it takes (and for as long as the power stays on) until I get to each and every one of you to answer a question, return a "fan", etc. I hope you will all accept my sincere & heartfelt apologies and trust that I will make good on my obligations and responsibilities- guaranteed!! Sorry about only being able to respond to you now - please read my post to everyone below. As "slingininc" correctly pointed out - I live in New Jersey and my house was flooded and we have been without power for an entire week. Got it back two days ago and it has been going on & off since then (more off than on) which is why no one has heard from me until now!! I guarantee shipment of this item within 2-4 days after the end of this auction. Please know that I am in the process of contacting all of my prior customers who hadn't yet received their items - not only are they all shipped now, but I also included "bonus" gifts as my small way of making things right (if I didn't already provide FREE SHIPPING, I would have returned the shipping fee). I can only hope that most will understand the circumstances as to why I haven't been able to contact them until now and/or why their shipments were delayed. I am doing my very best and, quite honestly, that's all I can do. Thank you!!

Cindy: I have contacted Listia support for help and support during this difficult time. "Slingininc" is correct that I live in New Jersey which was slammed by Hurricane Irene last week. Both my house and car were flooded and we were without ANY power for an entire week. Now that power has been restored, it has been going on & off hour by hour. I am doing my very best trying to contact everyone during the periods when we do have power and I apologize if you thought you were being scammed or ignored - NEITHER IS TRUE!! ALL packages have been shipped at this point and I promise you that yours should arrive early this coming week (I can't give you an exact day due to the Labor Day holiday). Not only did I ship every package to every single person who won my auctions, but I also included little "bonus" gifts to each person as my way of showing my sincerity (even though what occured was through no fault of my own). That's the best I can do and, although I know some people won't understand, I can deal with that. What I cannot understand is why you would contact me on an auction site that was posted BEFORE the hurricane hit (please feel free to check the date posted - it's a TEN day auction), so please don't think I'm posting auctions, yet ignoring customers - NOT SO. Unless you were planning on bidding (and I have a hunch I know the answer to that), it was truly uncalled for as, of course, you would be scaring potential bidders away. That's a shame because I'm a very honest and good person who is going through a really difficult time right now.
