Questions & Comments
You don`t say how deep the bulbs should be planted can they also be planted in flower pots how wet or how dry should the soil be kept for them? Not trying to be wise about it I am just asking can for those who have never heard of this plant the info would be helpful.. Can they be grown indoors as well near a lot of light as well? Also about how tall or bushy do they tend to get fully grown? Do these have a bloom or just stay the green and produce the bulbs at certain times of the year? Really interested in this to see if it can be grown indoors in winter as well since I live in Illinois in about southern area. Thank You.
yes you can plant in pots, plant bulbs about 6" deep, they will grow on a porch they need sunlight but not to much, I give mine the morning sun . actually the leaves turn yellow and get small red clusters of flowers between the leaves and the bulbs grow between the flowers. it is best to let the bulbs fall off on their own.
