Yes, it is magnetic. I really don't know how long the glue on the magnet will last or what strength the magnet has. Lots of bumpy roads out there and potholes. Just don't put it under the hood because most hoods open from the inside and if your keys get locked it there well,,,,mistake. LOL Thanks for asking!
