FREE: Alpaca Roving

This roving is absolutely beautiful. It's white suri, pencil, so it's not too big, and really spins up nice. I also have light brown suri, and black huacaya.
Don't know when or if I'll get around to listing any of that, as I have so much of the white.
I also donate part of my seconds and thirds to a guild in Phoenix, and they felt most of it. Minimal cleaning required then. Every so often, they send me a sample of what they've done, so I have a couple of wonderful felted handbags from them.

We have lots of rovings available in different colors. I am shearing the end of this month and will then have lots of new fleece. However, I believe it is not allowed to encourage anyone to go anywhere else (off this site).

i adore alpacas, they are so beautiful. The summer camp where i run the Art dept gets a bag of seconds/thirds from a local alpaca farm when our summer camp volunteers there. So far it has been fun , if a bit frustrating, to clean, card, build spindles, spin and dye the fiber. It would be awesome to have access to more! the campers only get to spin a little bit, and it's not really enough to knit with, but some have included it in their weaving projects. If you offer more through listia, I will bid on it for sure! It would be awesome to have some higher quality fiber. We have actually managed to get a large proportion of our supplies here on listia. Thank goodness. :)
