The version of this energetic childhood skip/hop game that I remember had a plastic lemon attached to a noisy black tube, and we regularly played with that thing well past when the street lights went on it was so fun.

It's a little trickier to master as an adult (as I discovered) - but it's a great fitness feat when you do pull it off, and the kids have a blast with it - even without the lemon
(I miss it).
