Before answering your question, I wanted to take another look at the ring to see exactly what markings are in the band. In the light it has a golden colored backside to it which I don't understand if it is solid silver. It was sold to me second hand as an older ring solid sterling. I do not test metals but it looked genuine to me. But in the light it definitely looks more gold than silver just on the backside. It might have a triangular stamp next to the 925 but my magnifying glass could not enlarge the detail for me to discern for sure. I did take more photos hoping it might help. When you buy second hand, sometimes you just can't answer 100%. I hope this helps.
