Lydia Mendoza (born 1916 died 2007) was one of the first and greatest stars of Tejano music (music of the Texas-Mexico borderlands). This set of 16 stamps is complete. The pictures in this auction are of the actual stamps that you will get at the close of the auction. The sheet is not in mint condition but, is in what I would possibly rate as near mint. I have no experience with rating the quality of stamps so, near mint may be a misnomer? The sheet does reflect some imperfections; all four corners of the sheet are somewhat blunted and the surface of the sheet shows some minor indentations or pressure marks (?). The 2nd quarter of the very bottom edge (from the left side of the sheet) shows some roughing up that measures maybe an inch in length. Other than that, I cannot do a better job to describe the condition of the sheet. Overall, the sheet is very collectable and attractive......especially for that Latin music fan in your life. If you have any particular questions about the sheet that you may be able to explain to me in detail (to give you as much accurate detail from me as possible), do not hesitate to ask.
