In the 1930's, Dossin Food Products acquired the Pepsi "franchise" for all of Michigan and northern Ohio, and were headquartered in Detroit. This particular bottle was produced on Valentine's Day (2/14/43) and was a "first run" as is designated by the "A". The overall condition is excellent except for the lip chip (as seen in the #4 photo).
The 1943 Philadelphia minted Washington Silver Quarter was in circulation until recently when I received it as "change", and I thought it would be neat to add it just as a "time-line Bonus" to go with the year of the bottle~
