Up for Auction is One Cobra MicroTalk 2-Way Weather Radio.
Gentle Used only 3 or 4 times. Great Condition.
Has multiple features:

14-Channel/ .5 watt power/ 2 mile talk range/ .25 uV Sensitivity/ Signal to Noise Ratio 45 dB/ and has Vibrating Alert.

Controls: call button, channel selector/scroll buttons, enter button, lock button, menu button, monitor button, power/volume knob, push-to-talk (PTT) button.

Display Info: battery level indicator, transmit indicator, weather alert indicator, battery save indicator, call indicator, channel indicator , lock indicator, memory indicator, receive indicator, scan indicator, sub-channel indicator.

It is Backlit, Has Channel Scan, an Audible Call Alert, a Keypad Lock, and Keystroke Tone.
The Cobra Radio is Weatherproof (water resistant) with 10 NOAA Weather Channels, and 38 Sub-Channels.

Additional Features include auto squelch, a Retractable Antenna, and voice scrambling.

The Cobra frs310wx is advertised as a Weather Radio but has multiple uses! No matter what outdoor activity you pursue -- mountain climbing, skiing, fishing, hunting, hiking or just a walk in the woods -- the two-way radio provides a vital information link, serving as a reliable communications tool and weather guide. Whether coordinating activities or out on the trail, these radios enable two-way communications up to two miles away with the simple touch of a button -- even in remote areas or crowded environments.
There are applications all over the internet for this radio including military, FBI, and pilots have been known to use these as well.
If your use is just weather related then no, you don't need another one. Weather alerts are broadcast continuously and are updated every hour on the hour. If your intent is communicating with other people then yes it takes two to talk. Any two radios can broadcast to each other including other brands. If you are outdoors say camping you can talk to other fellow campers who have 2-way radios as well. But the Cobra frs310wx is one of the best.
