No, this is just a soft silicone case. A lightning cable is a charger for the newer iPhones. It's smaller than the iPhone 4 chargers.

Well it does give you a little protection on the back from scratches and dents. It just does not protect the main glass very well.

I had a 5C and then it fell out of my pocket and cracked I got a new screen but now it needs a new battery. I loved it as well it just sucks that I'm gonna have to pay to get it fixed.

You are so correct and I've been a Listian for several years, and come to learn that if sellers don't reply promptly or start out with high dollar items- stay away fr that auction and I just learned the hard way- don't even waste your time on any of these new people that ship from abroad like China.
