There is a small player with a little screen that plays these discs. They are specifically called Video Now players. They are the only thing that will play these discs. My daughter loves hers.

I believe its either called a videonow xp or videonow color, both plays the videos but only videonow plays the pvd games. Each movie comes with an interactive game.
