I should have explained more in my listing. This hard drive is for a desk top computer, it will not fit into a lap top. This is IDE, ATA, it is not a SATA. If anyone does not know what they need I will try to help them figure it out.

true, that may help but it would probably be cheaper just to buy a whole new computer. The cost of a mother board is usually quite expensive in itself. I hope he does get satisfaction with whatever he chooses. I just wanted to make sure he knew that this hard drive will not fix his problem.

You make a very good point however, not all people out there have the knowledge it takes to undergo such an endeavor. It's like buying an already made birthday cake from the store because you don't know much about baking. I personally understand both sides of the situation and I mean no disrespect to either side but it just depends on what someone feels comfortable with...there is no right or wrong, We have given toddalexwalls a few suggestions on how to get a faster computer but it is ultimately his choice. I just wanted him to understand that this hard drive would not achieve his goal.

Thank you everyone for bidding on this hard drive. I realize there is only 1 day left before the end of the auction so good luck and may the best bidder win.

Appreciate the bids so far. Keep them coming. It's always good to have a spare hard drive.

for toddalexwalls what are the specs of your HP computer?

I looked up the specs for the hp 7935 and I still believe that toddalexwalls needs a newer computer. I thought adding memory might help but 512 is all it will take.

oh and by the way, thanks for the comments and the good will to help other people with their problems; it seems to be a quality that is not found very often any more.

guys seriously most of you know nothing about building computers, its always cheaper to build from parts BRAND New than to buy new i can build a custom 6 core pc for under $550 and if u bought that in stores u would be spending $700 Plus... so no it might be cheaper to buy a newmotherboard, Processor, Ram, than it would to buy a new PC u can get a nice motherboard that supports upto a quad core Processor and 4 gigs ram for only about $200 : then u would have a nice Quad core PC better than the single core he has now :)

very well agreed i didnt mean to sound like a ahole but its just ive learned about computers from the ground up since i was only 6 back when dial up was fast lol :P lol
my opinion to toddalexwalls is go to www.newegg.com where bussiness and personal people build computers if u dont have money save up and buy part by part it took me 6 months to build the beast i have now it was only $800 but it took a while to save up so u have ur choices.. :)
