I lost the lens cap to the thing so what I do is just rubber-band some cloth over it. You will/should be fine though because there is really no reason to take it out in the daytime anyhow

There is front AND rear magnifier and an infra red flashlight for those super dark nights. If the night is cloudy and black, the moon and stars are hiding, you can still find your way with this BRICK of a Russian make jewel by just using the infra red flash light that is built right in.
This item has my personal guarantee to work perfectly. Tere is NOTHING wrong with it other than the missing lens cap. You will LOVE it.

sorry, not $5 I meant li,e $5k or more. You are looking for a rifle mounted magnified night vision scope, not a handheld scope

This is a night vision scope man. There are night vision goggles, night vision scopes, etc. What you are talking about would be somewhere in the range of $5 as it would have to not only be a night vision scope but the magnifier would have to be immense. This is a monocular handheld nightvision scope with an infra red flashlight
