This beautiful bit of nature is called the purple shrimp plant (Cerinthe Honeywort).This is the last time I will be listing these as I am out of seeds except this last 8. It's quite the eye catcher. It's an annual over most of North America. Can pass as a perennial in the most southern places. It can grow to 3 ft. tall in the sun or will be a shorter plant if in partial shade.
Soak the seeds overnight. Plant them 3/4 inches deep in good soil and transplant when ready.
Bush this plant out by pinching, pruning, or dead heading.
I haven't had the pleasure of growing one of these and will be starting my seeds tomorrow. I'm gonna start 5 seeds and that is what you get if you win this auction. I will set a GIN for an extra 3 seeds and of course you will get your seeds much faster as I ship the next day. My seeds sprouted. Can't wait to put them in the ground.(4/26/15).
