The listing, FORD Motor Company &Ford Ammonium Sulphate Fertilizer Booklet has ended.
In the 1920's Ford Motor Company started the process of making ammonium sulphate(A.S.) fertilizer. A.S. is derived from coal and Ford owned many coal mines. In the FORD Motor Plant it was processed into fertilizer and sold by the same Ford dealers who sold and serviced peoples cars. Judging by the guessed age of the B&W photos of the tractors pulling a lime spreader and a seed drill, I'm thinking this booklet was published in the 1930s. No date is inside the booklet of 20 pages. It was used to fertilize everything from apples to Yams and directions for each type of crop are in this booklet. Was found in an old book about plants so except for the small mark shown on the front cover (left of picture), it's in excellent shape, no missing pages, no tears.
