Unsure if it is Amish Deer Tongue or Green Deer Tongue but reguardless, the flavor is very good for lettuce. The seeds were harvested just last week (July 2011) If you like unusual veggies/fruits, and like lettuce, this is one you really should try! Mine were ready to harvest 45-55 days. When ever I wanted a small salad, just went out and grabbed leaves off it and it produced all summer.
