The listing, Vintage Compact Case? has ended.
This piece is a simple but elegant compact case from the 40's and it's in great condition. It has the initial "E" engraved on the front and on the inside it has the name "Evans" inscribed on the metal bar that still has a tight spring action; it's faint but you can still make it out. It has the original cloth cover it came with, also in great condition. It's very thin so I don't think it's for cigarettes. I wish I had more historical information on it, but was told little about it. It was given to me by a friend who said it was found among her fathers belongings when they were packing up his estate.
