I think what they mean is that it will fit the kindle with the built in light that has the 6" display. That is a little confusing, I agree. Sorry, I just used their description. But no it does not have a light that I am aware of in the cover.

I am not sure I understand the question. This is only the cover (case) that holds a Kindle. It has cut outs for the charging port, power button, etc. But it does not include a tablet. I hope that helps. Thanks~ Deb
