hello! that is a great question and i had not been asked that to date about these yet, but the answer to that question is, they are exactly 4 1/2 inches long. i never thought of it.. these have been really popular here at listia :-) if you have any other questions i am happy to be of service!! have a nice day..:-)

you are welcome, i know a few of my other customers was really happy about them when they got them, and my gf and daughter liked them so much here at home i went and got 3 sets just for them to play with, one each plus a spare just in case. i until, i found them, and bought them had no idea they even existed. i personally think they are a great idea, keep the crayons from breaking and only have out what you want of the crayon. my gf is here and she says they feel comfortable to use. and she also is commenting on how the crayons dont seem really waxy like some crayons do, not an overly waxy shiny look to it. these are some things she noticed since she uses them from a personal level. just a bit more of what i know!! thank you again...:-)
