Questions & Comments
Oh, I don't doubt there are cards in there. I notice you don't use terms like "FACTORY FRESH" "CASE BREAK" ... and the like. I see some things going on here on this site that need correction. To put it politely. Yes, I am being kind :)
I'm just a common person who found something at a yard sale that I thought someone might enjoy having. This is not eBay .... It's Listia..,, and I'm offering it for "free". I'm not aware of all the professional jargon you are presenting. Thank you for educating everyone though.
The only "professional jargon" I mentioned ... pertained actually to ethics and morale. At least now, the buyers know what they are to expect. Happy bidding.
Hello! Thanks.......I think???!!! Lol! You never know what people may want or need on Listia! You know what they say.."One person's trash is another person's treasure!". Kinda wish, at this point, I had just kept them and given them to my son!!! Lol! Lesson learned... Just because I think that something is kinda cool to have.... Doesn't mean that others think that. I think I'll stick with my BNWT and less "controversial" items on Listia! Lol! :):):)
cant say 100% its a factory seal but i have bought several from factory that had the seal twisted and not perfect that and the varying storage conditions over the years can be a factor but this is a great auction oh the tape on bottom shows it was possably in a store factory slab so i think you have a factory seal set $150.00 and up itsa very nice
I have several factory sealed boxes, and YES, the wrapping can change due to varying storage conditions over the years. FYI....the value lies in ALL the cards in a box, not just 1 or 2. Your cards are currently valued individually at more than $150.00! Stand your ground....You had a wonderful idea and have an awesome auction going as a result! Anyone who tries to knock it just to keep the price down needs to be BLOCKED!
Hello! I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate the comment! THANK YOU!!!! And, yes, he will be blocked. I appreciate his opinion... But I don't appreciate his cruelty. Thank you so much! :):):)
Yep. Factory plastic seal is flawless with no folds. I used to work at a music store, owner would buy up used stuff at auctions and rummage sales and one of my jobs was to heat-shrink wrap it. Winner, don't expect a home run here ;) No worries, I'm not a bidder.
Hello again. Thank you for the information! And I will assume that there ARE baseball cards in there. I know where my neighbor lives! And thank you for being so kind...... :(
I purchased these from a Baseball card collector from a yard sale. Cannot guarantee anything except for looking at it and seeing it perfectly wrapped. He had numerous collections like this. If you aren't comfortable with bidding.... Please don't. I appreciate that you asked! :)
