Description

The listing, 3 Skiens of 100% Wool - Made in Switzerland has ended.

Three (3) skeins of 100% wool from Switzerland. Two skeins are fully intact with the original label. The third skein has been wound, but contains all the yarn (I weighed it).

Each skein is 50g and 160 meters (175 yards).

Labels states that it has been specially steamed with no chemical additives. Hand wash or machine wash. I would probably go with hand wash to be safe.

Colors - variegated green, cream, and what I would call mauve. This would make for a great project for the fall. I can picture some glorious mittens out these. Just not quite my taste.

Yarn has been kept in a smoke-free home, dog friendly home. Although my craft supplies are all kept in bags or storage bins where the dogs cannot get to them.

I am an avid crocheter, so any questions please ask. If bids go over 1,000 I'll throw in an appropriately sized crochet hook too!

I am going through the yarn I recently acquired so will have other yarn auctions coming up, so fan me and check back often. If there is something in particular you are looking for, please contact me and I'll let you know. If you are interested and prepared to use GIN let me know and if there aren't any bids, I can add it.

Happy bidding and as always, free shipping!

Hook size recommendation?

Looking at it, I would say G. You could probably use E, F, or H as well, but based on its thickness, I would probably use a G. Hope this helps!

Fanned back! Good for you... if you let me know your preferences of color for baby yarn I can let you know when I list my next yarn auction - I have some baby stuff.... and some stuff that would be good for a beginner. I also have hooks to auction, just haven't gotten to them yet. =)

My one piece of advice is until you get comfortable and good, keep to the inexpensive yarn. It is an expensive hobby or can be. I went from acrylic only to no acrylic and eventually onto hand spun, hand dyed (which is really expensive). =)

If it says on the tag to hand wash in cold water, air dry, etc. Then it should be feltable. If it says it is machine washable, then it would most likely not be feltable.

The label says hand or machine wash.... not sure if that helps or not. =)

The colors are hard to capture in the pictures due to the hues and lighting.
