Was this phone by any chance a prepaid phone that's been unlocked?

I have no idea about that. But I am sure it will work with Verizon, Sprint, US Cellular, Boost Mobile, C Spire, Ting and Virgin Mobile.

I use Pageplus who goes through Verizon. They use Verizon phones but the prepaid ones can't be used... too bad you don't actually know :( I was hoping to GIN t his by tomorrow morning. Thank you for being honest!

Well, You have not to expect me to be on verizon or any other US provider. i used this with Rogers. I tried with Wind mobile (Which I failed). There is SIM slot and it can be use with any similar bandwidth.

I'm searching the carriers you did use to see if they allow previous prepaid phones or not... or maybe one of us can call verizon and ask if it was a prepaid at one time..maybe they will tell us.. I'm still hoping I can find out lol

I've been doing some research and so far I've seen a few times on forums they say there isn't a specific number in the phone meid or on the phone that can tell you if it was a prepaid verizon phone or not. Is there a list somewhere online of acceptable phones for Rogers? I know Pageplus has a list and it specifically says Verizon Prepaid phones wont work. If Rogers stated that somewhere, then we'd know your phone isn't prepaid because you already had it on it.

I'm thinking the only way to know is through the person who first purchased it or through verizon, because they can look up the history on it.
