Have you tried any external speakers on it before some phones give you a menu when you plug the speakers in it recognizes its an external speaker not head phones and theres a special menu that allows you to select treble and bass settings as well as volume output I had a moto g that gave me the menu and also my galaxy but the lg venice did not so its all on your device . It will play on any device that has headphone jack its louder then speaker im just saying to adjust settings some older devices dont have the built in adjustment menu.
