Is this really sterling silver or is it plated? I got a beautiful ring on Listia and it said sterling silver and all the plating came off in a week and it is copper and ruined. My heart is broken, it is the mystic topaz and I wanted it so bad. This one is really lovely, but I need to know if it is really sterling or not.

I don't do any testing on the jewelry. However, where I buy it from says it SS & it's stamped .925. I can't confirm 100% that is it.
