Decorative Unique Beautiful SPLASH COPPER Display Sculpture - 98 g - Custom Made in Native Michigan

Here is a lovely specimen of SPLASH COPPER, which is formed by dropping molten copper onto a smooth surface.  It is then polished to a high sheen, to show off the lovely orangey red color so characteristic of copper.  Parts of the piece are then coated with oxidized copper in a blue green colorful which makes this a lovely and attention-getting decorative specimen. The sculptures are then sprayed to preserve the finish and to prevent the copper from tarnishing. These pieces are custom made in Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula is the most important locality in the world for pure native copper.
