The listing, Sundrops seeds, 20qty has ended.
The woman who gave me this perennial called them sundrops, but I have found the botanical name is Oenothera fruticosa, and it looks very much like evening primrose, which is a cousin of this one, if that helps you. They grow 1-2 feet high, spread by runners and bloom profusely late spring/early summer!
Hardy in USDA zones 2-8, likes all types of soil, wet or dry, clay or sandy. Full sun or part shade…pretty easy plant to keep and makes a nice taller growing ground cover.
Instructions for growing: Place the seeds in moist soil and stand back. Really, that is all there is to it. They do it on their own if you let them!
This comes from a smoke free home with one older kitty who doesn't play with my stuff.
