It is 22% polyester, 78% rubber. There are 5 yards in this package.

The package reads "For very light stretchability on garments that won't get heavy stress. Can be inserted in a casing for infants wear and doll clothes. Can also be used to create instant gathers on medium to heavy weight fabrics". Instructions are printed on the back of the package.
