Sent an irreplaceable bowl from 1908 once and it was wrapped perfectly, still arrived in pieces. I was mad but was out of luck. That's the way the cookie crumbles was pretty much what they said at the USPS, but I did have insurance and recouped 50.00. The bowl was worth more as are these figures, but at least I got something.
