The listing, LARGE Dooney & Bourke 1975 Bag has ended.

This is a Dooney & Bourke 1975 Bag. This is a really big bag, like a tote hand bag. It is beige with giant brown cow-like spots on it, and some red on it throughout. This bag is huge! The outside is in great condition. The inside has been used so its a little dirty and needs to be cleaned a little. Taking all the snaps apart, this bag is 21" across, 16" deep, and 9" wide. The straps are 21' all the way from end to end, so about 10 1/2" long when you're holding it regular. It's a great looking purse, and it's great to be able to carry just everything in here.

No, not on the outside. I'm sorry. There are 2 open pockets on one side and 1 pocket that closes with a zipper on the other side, all on the inside. Thank you very much for asking!! It's another thing I forgot to mention, so thank you so much for bringing it up!! =)

Hi! I'm so sorry I didn't see your comment earlier. It won't let me post any more pic because there have already been bids on the posting, but there is a metal square fixture on the outside of the bag in the center and it says - Dooney & Bourke 1975, and then on the inside all I see is a little white tag and on one side it says #028, and on the other side it says, made in china. I hope that helps.

The tag inside that authenticates it will say Dooney &Bourke on one side and on the other will have the serial#!

All I saw was a small tag that said 028 on one side and made in china on the other. I got it from a friend a while back and I have no idea if there were any other tags inside at one time. But there is a fixture that is metal attatched to the outside of the bag that says Dooney & Burke 1975.

Yes, I checked that, but it's blank. Nothing on it at all. I'm so sorry that I can't provide a serial number for all of you. I've checked the bag and I cant find one. I'm sorry.

If that is the only tag on the inside then this bag is not a real Dooney. Dooney & Bourkes tag is a cream color with red and blue stitching. The name Dooney & Bourke Inc are done in blue letters. And on the back of the same tag is the serial # that has at least 8 numbers. Sorry!

Oh . Im just putting up what the bag says on it. The same metal fixture that the other bags have on it is the same as what's on this bag. When I first put it up I wasn't thinking that it was an "original or authentic" anything. I just put up what the bag actually says on it. The bag is pretty big and heavy and a very nice bag. Thank you for informing me, though. I appreciate it. =)

Almost 100% of the time, if a purse has a blank tag inside (like the red one) it's not authentic. That goes for any brand of purse! I recently purchased a D&B giraffe print purse and it has a few interior D&B labels. Although it's a different style than this. Either way, this bag is still gorgeous! :)

I have a smiliar print on a bucket bags, also says dooney and bourke1975. I didn't know what to look for and of course it's a fake:(

Study the metal details. Any hardware on a Dooney and Bourke will be brass, whether it's the protective feet, studs or the strap knobs. If you see silver, you know it's not a real Dooney
it's still a really nice bag..love the print :)
