Description

The listing, Hawthorn Tree Start has ended.

I had a beautiful Hawthorn Tree in my back yard. It got damaged and had to be removed. But there are several babies coming up. The first picture is of the neighbors tree. Second is of the flowers close up. The third and fourth are of the little trees I will be digging. This offer is for one baby. In the Fall all those blooms become red berries that the birds love. Grosbeaks swarmed my tree when they showed up in late winter. And yes they do have thorns.

A message from the winner of the first listing.=
I had one of these in my yard when I lived in Oregon. It was a Washington hawthorn. The Robins used to hang upside down to get the berries it was sure a site to see. I have 3 hawthorn trees here in TN and they seem to do OK. Each one was grown from a seedling. I just love the flowers in the spring. I think my largest will bloom next year. Thanks for offering this wonderful tree.

I live in Zone 8. Sometimes our winters drop down into the teens. But only for a short time. Not the whole winter. And not every winter.
