Description

The listing, FREE UPS SHIPPING! Thomas & Friends Trains 25 Piece Lot - DVD - Book - Trains has ended.

I will ship this to the winner for free as long as they can accept UPS shipping. If the winner prefers to have this shipped to a PO box the shipping will be a flat rate of $12 payable through PayPal. I don't know who in their right mind would rather pay $12 for shipping rather than have this shipped for free but Listia will no longer allow me to list my auctions as free shipping with the condition of UPS only. I know this is confusing to some so if you have any questions please feel free to ask.

This is a used lot of Thomas & Friends trains both wooden (magnetic) and metal, a two disc DVD set played probably twice, and a classic Thomas & Friends collection of stories. All together there are 25 pieces.

The trains: The trains are mixed variety, some well worn wooden and metal classic trains and some newer plastic pieces. Of the newer pieces there is a flashlight large Percy train that says many phrases, a smaller Thomas light up train that also says many phrases, a pull back racer train Percy, and Percy and James medium sized trains with hooks that can attach to cargo cars from their sets.
Of the older, more classic styled trains there are many in a worn condition, so over the years we've given them Sharpie Marker paint jobs where the paint chipped off.

DVDs: We played these a couple of times, I can see minor surface scratches, none that I would imagine that would cause a problem.

Book: The book is well worn and contains 4 stories.

We are a non smoking household with a small hypo-allergenic Shih Tzu.

I think that's it. If you have questions please ask.

So just so I am clear you will ship to a verified address?
May 14th, 2015 at 7:01:51 AM PDT by
Original
No, per listia rules all adresses must be verified. The free shipping is defined by whether the winner provides me with a Non PO box address or a PO box address. I usually ship for free using UPS, but as stated UPS cannot ship to USPS PO boxes. So if the winner insists on having their item shipped to PO box then I would have to use USPS to ship the item and cannot pass along the free shipping to the winner. For most people this will mean free shipping as I believe most people would rather give me a regular home address as opposed to pay for shipping but Listia will not allow me to have my auctions listed as free shipping anymore. It's silly really and just makes everything more confusing.

Yes, I hope I'm explaining myself correctly. UNLESS the winner wants me to ship to a PO BOX the shipping will be free.

Thanks so much. I've been on Listia for a while and I agree, it's not been like it used to be. I've been considering moving my auctions to EBay because Listia moderators are giving me a hard time and not letting me list my auctions as free shipping, with a UPS only condition even though I continually put out quality auctions for my fellow Listians. I always get the majority of my Christmas gifts from Listia so I am also hoping the auctions get better too! Fanned you. Please check out my other auctions. I'm moving soon and continually listing new auctions. Just listed an Umizoomi remote control car.

Some ppl only have po boxes. I did for years. Mail just started coming to my house. And only cuz I fought for it. Now everyone next to me has one. But I still use my po box. But I have both verified. U might have to remind me. Lol. And ups will deliver to po boxes ,they do to mine all the time. But u have to have BOTH ADDRESS on the package or they give you a hard time. I dont know why lol they get out and drop it off at the counter just like getting out and throwing it over my fence.lol. but thats there rules. Lol. So if anyone doesnt want to bid cuz of that ,I would t worry. Just send it with both addresses on it and you will have no problem getting your package.
So bid bid bid this is a great auction. Im spending a small fortune on getting these things one at a time lol

This is what I got from the UPS website:
UPS will only accept shipments to a valid street address. We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. If a shipper should use a P.O. Box address, the recipientĀ“s telephone number must be included on the label. Your package that is addressed to a P.O. Box may be delayed, will not be covered by any UPS Service Guarantee, and will require an address correction charge. Additionally, Army Post Office (APO) and Fleet Post Office (FPO) addresses are not accepted.

So what they would do as per this answer is hold onto the package until they can contact the recipient with the residential address. So what you are saying seems to make sense.
