10 Perennial Gold Dust Alyssum Seeds -

Also known as Aurinia saxatilis. The flowers are golden yellow and the foliage is silvery gray. The leaves are covered with smooth, silvery hairs. They flower in early to mid spring. This plant spreads quickly and produces a large amount of flowers every spring. After the flowers are faded, cut back by 1/3 to encourage the plant to rebloom. This is a very easy to care for plant.

Sun: Full Sun
Height: 6 to 12 Inches
Spread: 9 to 12 Inches
Uses: Borders, Ground Cover, Xeriscaping
Sowing Method: To start Alyssum from seed, simply scatter the seed and press it down, so that it makes good contact with the soil, but it is still exposed to light. Keep the soil moist, until germination.
Blooms: Late Spring to Early summer
Care: Drought-tolerant; suitable for xeriscaping. Self-sows freely; deadhead if you do not want volunteer seedlings next season.
