Questions & Comments

Is this compatible with gateway computer? have windows xp home edition...also have dell with xp professioal edition but dell has no extra slots for upgrades...my gateway has 2 empty slots - I use the dell day to day - can this be used externally?
I don't know alot about computers but with printed instructions I have replaced cd/rom drive in gateway. Would this be similar process?
Sorry if the questions are dumb but like I said, I don't know alot about computers but I can read and follow directions (if in english, not chinese or whatever is printed on the box you show) lol...no offense to anyone intended here to anyone.

With gateway? Hm, you should open your gateway from the side of the HD and look to see if extra slots are available. The slot you are looking for should be right under your DVD/CD rewritable drive. The instructions should be really similiar to this product on installing it to your HD. It's ok, I love answering good questions. Hope this helped.

yes on my gateway computer I have 2 open slots...I wasn't clear in above questions...I do have open slots on the gateway but there are no extra slots on my delll - only dvd / cd player and floppy disk drive...and I wanted to know if it can be used both internally and externally? I guess at this point it doesn't make any difference for me cause the bidding is now to high for me to bid - but someone else might benefit from this inquiry...and thanks for respondng by the way ! very cool.
