This is a cool flashback for your GL fans! This comic hales from October of 1964. It is in above average condition with one exception; the cover is totally detached from the top staple. The cover still fits snug against the spine as if the staple were still attached there but, on opening the comic book, you can see that the cover is detached at that one staple. The centerfold is still in tact so the comic will not come apart upon reading it. Extra care would need to be taken though so as not to separate the cover from the other staple. Not taking the staple disconnect into account, I would rate this comic as Very Good / Fine (VG/FN). But, taking the staple disconnect into account, I'd have to rate it one full step down from the VG/FN grade to a Good / Very Good (GD/VG) grade. The comic book is very attractive, despite having several flaws ( some creasing, dulled corners, roughed up edges, etc.) but, if you can't get past the staple disconnect, then you might want to skip this copy. If you CAN get past the staple disconnect, then by all means; pick up this copy to add to you GL collection! If you have any questions or comments about this comic book, feel free to post!
