The listing, Genuine Ivory Necklace, Vintage has ended.
Very pretty pendant on a 28" chain of ivory beads. At least, I think it is ivory. This is very old and came from my mother's things. Pendant is carved on both sides. I don't know the history, so am leaving it up to as to what it is worth.

Questions & Comments
Very nice. I collect bone and ivory. Hard to say what it's made of unless pics are much closer to necklace to see texture of material. Have won 9 so far on this sight. 2 are ivory so far. Either way the time they spent on these makes them unique and and something that I love to collect. Will be bidding to end on this
I can't see that close. As I said in the listing, I don't really know, but think it is ivory. This is not something that I'm an expert at and it wasn't my necklace in the first place. I don't know.
Ivory is not prohibited. I only know that it was represented to me as Ivory, but if you would rather I said a very pretty carved pendant with beads for the necklace, I will do that so all who are bidding on it will know. I'm new, so am learning what I can and cannot do on this site. Hope that answered your question Sunnfox.
I don't see any marks on the necklace, but then I don't see that well, anyway. My eyesight is poor at best. I don't know the makeup of the necklace as I've said before and in the original listing. I have no idea and won't venture any further guesses.
Okay, I will, but if anyone read all these comments and the description, then they would be forewarned that it might not be pure ivory. It looks like someone believes it is by the amount of bids. I don't know and I've said so.
I can't change it at this time - so please read all the comments and make your decision. I think DJSteps wants this piece and she should know what it would be.
