*Items ship on Wednesdays. Subject to USPS - USDA quarantine.
Radishes are easy to grow. Key factor is to grow them fast and harvest them fast. Radishes are sensitive to any changes in their growth. They want cool, moist soil with organic matter, with a pH of about 6.5 and an available supply of nutrients. Cow manure is best. Radishes are at their best for a short time. If they're left in the ground longer than they should be, they turn bitter and a pithy texture.
*Heirloom seeds can be replanted season after season. Be sure to let at least one radish to go to seed. After radish blooms a flower, plant will go to seed. Collect after seed dries on plant.
