My daughter is culling her games, doesn't quite recall this one. Her first dollhouse was made of plywood and the cat would knock all the furniture out of the upper floor and nap there.

But I digress. Here is what someone on Amazon had to say about this DS game.

Notes: Graphics are cute and Good; they will not "wow" you -- but with this game, that consideration is secondary to insignificant compared with playability. Also, you do need to be able to read to play this successfully.

This was a "sleeper game" at our house. Other DS games were played before this one. BUT...once it was popped in and started, the fun has yet to end for my daughter.

You play as a girl in a house (or a doll in a dollhouse). The game sends you on quests to help "Mum" or "Dad". Some of the things they ask you to do are mini games (washing windows, washing dishes, etc.), but sometimes they ask you to get things for them in other rooms of the dollhouse. Searching rooms and finding objects is fun, but so is decorating (and redecorating) parts of the dollhouse. The rewards of finding objects for the parents allow different areas of the dollhouse to be explored, or give special abilities to the player's character.

Initially navigating through the dollhouse was rough, as there was no knowledge of the dollhouse's layout. But some patience and persistence paid dividends, and is still paying them.
