FREE: Hatbox Beauties: Doll Needlecraft Patterns

These hat box patterns are so sweet and just perfect for a little girl about my granddaughter's and great-granddaughter's ages! I would have loved to have had something like this to keep my treasures and jewelry in when I was a little girl! The dresses are all just gorgeous and so unique! They look like dresses from a fairytale, with all of the different designs on the skirts. They look very French to me, like the designs I saw in the pictures my Mother took on her visit to the gardens in Quebec, Canada. back in the late 50's. My husbands nurse has a daughter who just celebrated her 9th birthday and had insisted on a French theme for her party. She is crazy about Paris! I had a box that was finished in pictures of the Eiffel Tower and other Parisian scenes beside the chair I sit in when I'm watching TV.
The nurse asked where I got it, but I got it so many years ago that I doubted he would ever find one like it anywhere, so I gave it to his daughter for her birthday. These dolls would just tickle her pink, too, as Mike, the nurse, said his little girl is all about organizing everything and keeping things separated in boxes in her room. Should I win this auction, I will no doubt be making at least one of these hatbox dolls for her, too, as well as for my own little girls. Thank you so much for listing it!
