Description

The listing, Hatbox Beauties: Doll Needlecraft Patterns has ended.

These gorgeous confections are done on 10-mesh plastic canvas. This booklet came out in 1998. I have never seen it since. The bride and her entourage are simply stunning, accented with beads, lace and faux pearls (not included). They are for 11 1/2 inch fashion dolls and would delight any young girl to keep her trinkets or jewelry hidden away in plain sight.

Be sure you read the entire offering and realize what you are going to receive if you win. I do not do GINs or change the length of the the auction time. No buyer remorse allowed! If you have an issue once you receive the item, please contact me.

I ship three times a month: the 1st, the 19th and the 4th Wednesday of each month. If you win on the 3rd, you may have to wait for shipping until the 19th. I always offer free shipping in the USA. If you need your item before my next shipping date, you can volunteer to pay the exact shipping fee via Paypal. If that bothers you, please bid elsewhere. All other Listia rules apply.

Please note!! As stated in the title, this offering is for the pattern so YOU can make the gown yourself. Again, you are getting the PATTERN, not the gown or the doll in it

These hat box patterns are so sweet and just perfect for a little girl about my granddaughter's and great-granddaughter's ages! I would have loved to have had something like this to keep my treasures and jewelry in when I was a little girl! The dresses are all just gorgeous and so unique! They look like dresses from a fairytale, with all of the different designs on the skirts. They look very French to me, like the designs I saw in the pictures my Mother took on her visit to the gardens in Quebec, Canada. back in the late 50's. My husbands nurse has a daughter who just celebrated her 9th birthday and had insisted on a French theme for her party. She is crazy about Paris! I had a box that was finished in pictures of the Eiffel Tower and other Parisian scenes beside the chair I sit in when I'm watching TV.
The nurse asked where I got it, but I got it so many years ago that I doubted he would ever find one like it anywhere, so I gave it to his daughter for her birthday. These dolls would just tickle her pink, too, as Mike, the nurse, said his little girl is all about organizing everything and keeping things separated in boxes in her room. Should I win this auction, I will no doubt be making at least one of these hatbox dolls for her, too, as well as for my own little girls. Thank you so much for listing it! I hope you are having a pleasant and enjoyable evening doing something that makes you happy, too, the way I am in looking at all of your new offerings! Big hugs and much love to you!

Thank you, Bobbie. How generous of you to gift that little girl with your box.

These patterns work up much more quickly than the crocheted ones. Needlework on plastic canvas if fun and fairly fast.
