This Kanthal 32 gauge AWG A1 wire is great wire for rebuilding small heating coils. This wire provides 14.2 Ohms/ft of resistance at room temperature and has a heat resistant up to 1500 degrees Celsius.

This is ideal for when you are shooting for 1+ ohms resistance, because you get around 1.2 ohms per inch, so to build a coil below 1 ohm would be pretty tricky with 32awg, unless you twist a few strands together, in which case it would be multi-strand parallel 32awg, with which it is entirely possible.

Theoretically, this would would work for a Hot foam cutter, but I would instead recommend Nichrome wire for that purpose. You could also theoretically build a soldering tool with it, but obce again, I would recommend a larger wire and probably Nichrome for that.
