Questions & Comments
as a new seller just remember a couple things, some buyers will try and scam you by claiming they never received an item or that the item was damaged when they got it, to prevent this for DS games I get those debit card mailers they don't cost much and you can fit 2 or 3 per card holder then I put that into a small padded envelope, and ALWAYS ship with tracking there is a spot to put a tracking number in this auction page after it ends, then they cant claim they never got it, and the admins can also use the tracking number to see that. :-) also when you reply to people's questions make sure to click reply under each comment and reply that way it will send a message to the buyer letting them know you answered them :-) never lower days either a lot of high end bidders write down the days and ties auctions they want are ending and get on to outbid everyone else last few seconds, also don't fall for people claiming they will send you credits if you end it early there is NO way to trade credits like that last thing that can help you get bids and bidders, make sure when you take pics of the items you sell that they are sitting next to a piece of paper with your screen name written on it clearly this will stop the trolls from claiming that you don't really own the items, also if you do get a troll click their name when in their profile top right click block user then they cant comment or bid on your stuff ever
Thank you! I appreciate all the information you have given me and will definitely be shipping all items with tracking information..and will keep a file of pictures of all the items I list to prove there was no damage when I mailed them. Thanks again!
no problem, im just passing on info that a guy taught me when I started selling my measely few items lol and considering back then he had over 4000 sales with zero negative feedback I kinda trust what he told me LOL
Awesome! I really do appreciate it. I'm such an honest person myself. If there was a real problem such as damage in the mail or a truly lost package I'd be more than happy to refund. But I definitely am trying to avoid being scammed as much as I can!
see im the same way honest to a fault, but luckily there are ways around the scammers :-) theres a lot of good buyers on here as well, and we outnumber the scammers cause listia tends to take care of them pretty fast once caught
