This is an oval dresser / bureau mirror with a metal filigree frame. It's an antique. Women used to put their combs, jewelry, & such on this. I found it was a great way to organize small items anywhere . . . there's something about placing a bunch of small things on a contained space that reduces the look of clutter!

The overall size of this is approximately 14 1/2" x 9 1/2" and the sides of metal filigree are approximately 1 5/8" tall. The sides curve out gently from the base to the top.
The underside is covered in leather (at least I think it's leather). There are a few small scratches on the mirrored surface consistent with the age of this piece.
